The deadline for the 2019 VRCORE Awards contents submission is 11:59pm, Saturday, 31st August 2019. This leaves developers and publishers just two weeks to submit their game, experience, movie or app! Anyone creating good VR/AR content is welcome to join the contest and show their creativity and ability to the VR/AR content creators around the world: who can win the grand prize in the end? We will find out in November!
The 2019 VRCORE Awards online registration officially started at 00:00 on May 13th, 2019. The registration is free and the content you submit only need to meet the following two requirements:
- You have full copyright of the submitted content.
- The submitted content never participated in any competitions of the same type as VRCORE Awards.
The contest does not limit the type of content you submit, the development tools you use and the platform your content targets, providing a highly free competing environment for the developers.
Developers and teams can submit their contents that meet the registration requirements and register for the contest at our official website (en.vrcore.org) before 23:59 on August 31st, 2019. You can also find more information about the 2019 VRCORE Awards on the official website.
Contents Submission Q&As
Q: Who will be awarded the prizes? The development team (developer) or the submitted contents?
A: All the prizes of the 2019 VRCORE Awards are set for the contents not the development team.
Q: Can I submit multiple contents?
A: Yes! You can submit as many contents as you wish. We would like to see more teams joining the contest with their great works.
Q: Can I submit my content in my own name?
A: Yes! Whether you are a game company, a studio or an independent developer, you can join our contest with your VR/AR content.
Q: Which contents meet the requirements of “never participated in any competitions of the same type as VRCORE Awards”?
A: The VRCORE Awards is a contest only focused on VR/AR contents. Other contests not focused on VR/AR contents are not the same type. Contents that have not participated in the same type of contest can sign up for the VRCORE Awards. (Example: Film festivals such as Tribeca Film Festival are not the same type as VRCORE Awards. They do have VR/AR awards, but they are not contests only focused on VR/AR contents.)
Q: Is there any limitation on the type of the content submitted?
A: There is no limitation on the type of the content submitted. Whether it is a game, film, industry application or other experimental work, you can sign up the contest for it.
Q: Is there any limitation on development tools and target platforms?
A: There is no limitation. You can submit your work developed with any tool targeting any platform.
Q: Is there any limitation on experience duration of the content submitted?
A: There is no limitation as long as the content provides a complete experience.
Q: Can I submit a content that must use an external device?
A: No problem at all! You only need to specify the external device you use when submitting your content.
